MAX-WEAR Shielding Fabric (roll width 150 cm) is designed for shielding high frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF).  Since the metal threads are coated, MAX-WEAR fabric cannot be grounded to shield low frequency electric fields.

EMF attenuation: 44 dB (99.995%) at 1 GHz*.

Features: MAX-WEAR is a compact cotton fabric (130g/m2) made from 70% cotton, 28.5% copper, and 1.5% silver.   This soft ecru-white cotton fabric is comfortable on the skin and is certified to Öko-Tex 100 and 1000 standards for chemical safety and sustainable production. It can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius on gentle cycle, preferably with TEXCARE detergent.  Due to the 70% cotton content, MAX-WEAR fabric can shrink up to 3% after washing. MAX-WEAR fabric is colour-stable since the copper-silver threads are coated.
