M6-32 Magnetic Field Shielding Plate is designed for shielding low frequency magnetic fields. It also shields high frequency electromagnetic fields and can be grounded to shield low frequency electric fields. 


Magnetic field attenuation: 

Three-phase 50 Hz:
Single layer: 20 dB (89.4%). Two layers: 26 dB (94.8%). Three layers: 30 dB (96.9%). Four layers: 33 dB (97.7%). 
 
Single-phase 50 Hz:
Single layer18 dB (87%). Two layers: 23 dB (93.1%). Three layers: 27 dB (95.4%). Four layers: 29 dB (96.6%).

Static magnetic fields:
Single layer: 15%. Four layers: 58%


Features: 
M6-32 is specially designed to attenuate low frequency magnetic fields from single-phase and three-phase 50 Hz power sources. It also shields static magnetic fields and high frequency electromagnetic fields up to 40 GHz. The aluminium surface has an high frequency shielding attenuation of 120 dB. 

M6-32 is composed of 6 very thin shielding foils. It is flexible and corrosion resistant with the bottom lined with a self-adhesive layer and the upper side lined with aluminium. The total product size is 31 x 23 cm. The shielding surface is 29 x 21 cm and the thickness is 0.6 mm.
Please note for safety that this shielding plate is a vapour barrier, it is slippery when wet, and cut edges are very sharp. Professional installation is highly recommended. 
 

Applications:
  • Can be placed on a flat roof or under floor structures.
  • Can be applied to small surfaces in a domestic environment, as well as for large surfaces in construction, trade or industry. Applications in cars, electric vehicles are also possible. 
  • Can be glued into place with a high viscosity adhesive, or can be fixed into place with a nailer.
  • Must be grounded to prevent the spread of electric fields. 
  • For indoor and outdoor use.
