The EMF Check service is a home visit to survey indoor and outdoor electromagnetic fields (EMF) that may impact health or lead to poor sleep quality. We will check high frequency EMF power density, low frequency electric and magnetic fields, and static magnetic fields using technical instruments, and propose solutions for reducing harms from any excessive exposure.
Signals from wireless devices such as mobile phones, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth earphones, cordless phones and radars are considered high frequency EMF sources. They are associated with strong oxidative stress in the body, as well as headaches, disturbed sleep, skin rashes, learning disorders, and allergies.
Power cables and electric appliances are considered sources of low frequency electric fields. They also generate low frequency magnetic fields when there is a flow of alternating current (AC). Bedside lamps, nearby transformers, switch rooms and elevators can all generate such magnetic fields. These fields can disrupt the body’s endocrine functions.
Static magnetic fields can come from nearby metals such as the spring coils in mattresses, bed frames, even walls. They can cause magnetic gradients on our body and affect nerves, muscles and other biological processes.
