This BLACK-JERSEY shielding shorts are designed for shielding high frequency electromagnetic fields (EMF) at home, around town or when travelling. These shorts can be combined with the shielding T-shirt available on this website for better shielding coverage.


EMF attenuation: 40 dB (99.99%) at 1 GHz*.

Features:  This shielding shorts are made from BLACK-JERSEY fabric which is soft and cuddy against the skin. BLACK-JERSEY is a compact cotton fabric made from 83% cotton and 17% silver thread.  The black fabric has a metallic shimmer on one side. It can be washed up to 30 degrees Celsius on gentle cycle, preferably with TEXCARE detergent. Due to the cotton content, BLACK-JERSEY fabric can shrink up to 3% after washing. As the fabric is made with uncoated silver, there will be some disolouration but this does not affect the fabric's attenuation performance.

    Care instructions: 
    • Gentle cycle at 30 degree Celsius
    • Iron without steam at degree 1
    • Drying at low temperature
    • No bleaching
    • No chemical dry-cleaning
    • Wash only with washing detergent TEXCARE, without enzymes or bleaching agents

       

      Caution:

      Shades, differences in color and batik-style discolorations are not a manufacturing or quality defect. Coating materials in silver follows a special chemical process. Colour commitment and homogeneity of the silver tone cannot be guaranteed by the manufacturer.  Production-related variations in shades, color and batik-like discolorations are possible. This, however, has no impact on the surface resistance and efficacy of the product and does not constitute grounds for refund or product exchange. 

      Hygiene products like shielding clothes, blankets, bedding or sleeping bags cannot be returned or exchanged in size when used.
