VOILE Shielding Fabric (roll width 250 cm) is designed to shield high frequency EMF coming through windows and adjacent walls, however this fabric is not intended to shield low frequency electric fields since the conductive fibres are insulated and cannot be grounded.
EMF attenuation: Single layer: 36 dB (99.97%) at 1 GHz*.  Double layer: 51 dB (99.9992%) at 1 GHz*.

Features: VOILE is a very lightweight (65 g/m²) fabric made from 83% polyester, with 16% copper and 1% silver as shielding materials.  VOILE fabric is white, semi-transparent and crease resistant, making it ideal for day-use drapes.  It can be washed at 30 degrees Celsius on gentle cycle, preferably with Texcare detergent, and it can be ironed on low heat (no steam).  This fabric is made with coated copper-silver threads, therefore discolouring from tarnish will not occur.
Applications:
  • For use as a curtain or drape to shield high frequency EMF coming through windows and walls at night.   Can be used at night with an additional EMF shielding curtain for extra attenuation during sleep times.
  • For indoor use only.

    This fabric can be purchased by the roll-metre (roll width is 250 cm).  Please enter quantity of metres required (minimum quantity is one roll-metre).
